hi Pioter The ASN.1 coder and decoder must have the same ASN.1 module. That means that both - coder and decoder "know" the real ASN.1 type which is hiding behind the IMPLICIT tag.
Of course it is possible to decode the DER code without knowing the module, but then the decoder doesn't have information about sematics (like that the decoded INTEGER is account number and nothing else) and obviously can not decide what to do with IMPLICIT tags... hope this heplps Vit
