Dear Mr. maximum_object_size sebaik nya secukup nya saja tidak terlalu besar dan tidak terlalu kecil. saya pribadi hanya mencache file maximum_object_size 4096 KB untuk mengatasi file file web swf saja.
Sebaik nya file file jenis exe mpeg mp3 dan file file berukuran besar tidak di cache ... karena selain mempengaruhi kinerja squid juga akan membuat hardisk cache anda cepat penuh. acl exe urlpath_regex -i \.exe$ no_cache deny exe untuk solusi antivirus sebaiknya gunakan antivirus yang bisa client server contoh nod32 atau norton corporate. jadi anda cukup mengupdate server nya saja dan masing masing client update ke norton corporate server atau nod32 admin mirror dan tidak menggunkan bandwidth internet.
