COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS 1. A degree in computer Science or related field from a recognised institution. 2. At least 5 years experience in configuration, maintenance of IT environments. 3. Deep knowledge of servers running windows 2003 server, active directory and domain controllers. 4. Advanced knowledge of VPN, TCP/IP layers, VOIP, Firewalls, and ISA server configuration and traffic. 5. Knowledge of Java scripts, C++, C# and Microsoft .NET applications. 6. Knowledge of VSAT and microwave radio transmission protocol is an asset. 7. Trustworthy with sound and quick judgment and the ability to work with minimum supervision. 8. Ability to keep confidential network information, passwords and other sensitive information residing on the network. 9. Accuracy in reporting and time keeping. 10. excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues 11. Excellent communication skill: ability to articulate and disseminate technical information in an understandable manner and to train end users on different computer and network devices. 12.
