Hello people:
I am running on windows 98SE, Apache 1.3.20 and
Activeperl build 626.
So i just finished installing Apache::ASP 2.17.
This is what i did
I used ActivePerl's ppm utility and
ran:
this install fine i am assuming, it said that it
was writing 3 files to the following places
C:/perl/site/lib/Bundle/ASP.pm
C:/perl/site/lib/Apache/ASP.pm C:/perl/site/lib/auto/Apache/Asp/.packlist So now i am stuck and i dont know what to do. What
do i have to write on my httpd.conf file in Apache to configure it? do i have to
write anything else somewhere else? if so what? I read also on the quick start
section of http://www.nodeworks.com/asp/install.html that
i could test apache by running the scripts on /site/eg/ that comes in the
zip file. Dont i need to configure the apache *.conf file to regconize the
APACHE::ASP first before anything?
Also when all is said and done if i want to write
my own *.asp pages where do i put them, would they still go under the /htdocs
section of the apache structure? and if i do write my own asp pages do
i have to configure the httpd.conf file to recognize them? If you could
just give me in the right direction i'd really appreciatte it. Thanx
!!!
