No problem, I still appreciate the helpful subs.  And more than that, the
ideas that those subs express.  Such as using subs to validate things, or
avoiding overwrites of data structures, etc.  I am a decent programmer (I
think, haha), but I am pretty new to the Perl scene.  I've only spent about
a month on it, really.  But so far, I think it is the best language I have
ever used!  I love it.  Thanks so much for the help.
