great!
i'm getting a blank page. no chars inside. no entry in the error_log.
what can be the problem?

This might not be a mod_perl2 + Apache::ASP problem, but more
just getting Apache::ASP to work generally. Have you followed
the instructions at:

  http://apache-asp.org/install.html#Quick%20Start

in getting the examples configured? In all likelihood, Apache::ASP
is not set up correctly to execute the script you are working with.

One separate thing you can try to see if Apache::ASP & mod_perl is
set up correctly on your system is try to run the Hello World
benchmarks at:

  http://chamas.com/bench/

If the ASP & mod_perl tests run, you know you have the right system
at least. Be sure to read that projects README fully to know how
to run the program, like using -dso flag if that is how your mod_perl
is installed.

Regards,

Josh
