Greetings, Is there a way to send a password thru a <a href > and have Access recognize it as the password to open the table with?
I'm creating a web page that has to pulls labels from an Access table. The Access Database has a password. The labels are set up in Access. On the web page there's a link like this: <a href="file://Iisserver/nicbintra/VMOS/test/ClientLabels.mar"> When the database has no password it works good. When the password is there - it opens access and asks for a password. Maybe the real answer is to place security on the folder instead of the database? If so - other pages add info to the database - so what permissions do I apply to it? Thanks in Advance.
