About the Client:
Our Client have serviced over 600 customers in more than 120 countries
through their portfolio of products and services. They provide comprehensive IT
solutions exclusively to the financial services industry worldwide.
Experience: 5 Years
Location: Singapore ( Permanent )
Position: Developer
Required Skills
Min 3-5 years design & dev experience in VB6 (Microsoft Visual 6.0) - ADO
connectivity, 3rd party grid controls (i.e. Janus), DLL design & Code - Client
Server Development.
2- 3 years experience in .Net framework and al associated technologies
including ASP, ASP.Net, ADO.Net VB and c# .net
Min 3-5 years design & dev experience in MS SQL Server 2000 (OLE db, NT
integrated security, app and db roles, transact SQL, DTS package construction)
Min 3 years experience of Wintel Operating systems (Windows XP desktop -
Server 2003 from a developer perspective and NOT engineering). Familiar with
Windows Registry - limitations\strengths particularly when designing and
implementing a new system. Differences with Application Server config as
opposed to File server config
2 years + Crystal Reporting.
Middle tier application design & code - interaction with SQL server and third
party schedulers (knowledge of control m scheduler would be advantageous)
OO Application design and methodology in a VB\NT context, e.g. familiarity
with COM
Good knowledge of MS Office products such as VBA for Excel, Word and MS
Access (Design knowledge of MS office product integration with in-house
developed applications)
Good Experience with VB script (NT automated file handling and application
rollout mechanism)
Secondary Skills:
Full project development cycle for NT based applications - proven track
record of systems managed and implemented
* Experience of implementing third party and vendor applications with proven
track record.
* Experience and\or knowledge of XP
* Delivery and budget focused
* Client focused & sensitive to client needs
* Analytical and logical thinker that can cater for fluid requirements
