Hi all
I am trying to exicute and exe file in an asp page. The app is FDFMergeLite.
Here the code I am using base o0n an example provided by the Appligent.
fdfMergeCmd = "C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\fdfmergeliteapp.exe -r
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX -o C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\Temppdf\zzzzzzzz1.pdf
C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\Temppdf\zzzzzzzz1.pdf
C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\Temppdf\zzzzzzzz1.fdf"
CODE START --------------------------->
FDFMergeRegNum = "XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX "
fdfMergeAppl = "C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\fdfmergeliteapp.exe -r FDFMergeRegNum"
fdfMergeParms = "-o C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\" & session("WeresMyPDF") &
"C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\" & session("WeresMyPDF") &
"C:\MYServerDIRforTHEAPP\" & session("WeresMyFDF")
fdfMergeCmd = fdfMergeAppl & fdfMergeParms
// if i put two // infront of the return line the page has no errors because
the return line doesn't exicute.
Set WshShell = Server.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
Return = WshShell.Run(fdfMergeCmd, 10, true) ' Same window state as
caller,Wait for completion
set WshShell = nothing
<-------------------------CODE END
If anyone could help out that would be great been messing with this for week
now with no solution. Appligent support is not much help either they don't have
an answer either.
