Charles Carroll <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: His problems are because I suspect his machine is compromised by spyware, malware, etc, I pointed him to http://www.charlescarroll.com/chaz/site/3648/default.aspx which points him to many tools to clean up a PC that is filled with Viruses, Spyware, Malware, BHOs and all the "usual suspects". He is using Macafee (which I do not trust, just like I do not trust Norton) and I stressed the importance of AVG instead (free and excellent) and of getting the Sygate personal firewall installed instead of windows ICF. And told him to download Firefox as an IE replacement so while he was googling to clean his PC their were not additional attacks suceeding against IE and compromising him further.
