I'm running two jobs in our production environment. The first job just selects records in the SQL Database while the second job updates records in the SQL Database. Both jobs run for at least 5 hours because of the amount of data involved. There is an overlap in their schedule that is why when the second job commences it stops because it is being blocked by the first job.
Is there a way I could modify my first job (the job that selects records) so that it will no block the second job? Thank you very much. Erwin Rommel Y.
