Did you see my email regarding using the "cn" variable to store the connection string when you've used it to created an ADO connection object? The first thing I would check is whether there is any data in the database that matches, within Access itself. If there's a small amount of data you should be able to see very quickly, if it's a large amount of data then you probably want to create a quick query in Access. Dan
