i tried it this way

clicked on the zip file of eclipse 3.5  and opened the link in new window

then, it opened the haward site, now i changed the /35/ to /34 and
eclipse...3.5 to eclipe 3.4.. or so..

it downloaded the proper zip of elipse 3.4 and i copied the plugins and
features folders into eclipse.

Just incase somebody is also looking for help.. i thought this might help
them.
