I'm pleased to announce AspectJ 1.8.9 is out. I've uploaded it to maven central but it may take a while to appear.
This is a bug fix release of AspectJ but also includes an update to the internal Eclipse Java compiler AspectJ uses. The compiler has been upgraded to include the compiler fixes in the recent Eclipse Mars.2 service refresh. AspectJ 1.8.9 is available from the download page: http://www.eclipse.org/ aspectj/downloads.php The README http://www.eclipse.org/aspectj/doc/released/README-189.html has a bugzilla link if you wish to see exactly what is fixed.
