We are trying to write a simple program using the aspell C API, however we are having trouble linking it with the aspell library. We are using libtool version 1.3.3. When we try to link using the -laspell flag, it can't find the shared libraries.
Can anyone clarify the first paragraph in 6.1.1 of the manual.
