Thanks to Babak Mahmoudi, Edwin Hakopian, and others a new Persian (also known as Farsi) dictionary is now available for Aspell 0.60: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/fa/aspell6-fa-0.02-0.tar.bz2
The German (de) dictionary by Björn Jacke has been updated to the latest source version, 20030222. In addition an affix file is now used, but affix compression is not enabled by default. You can find it at: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/de/aspell6-de-20030222-1.tar.bz2 A New German dictionary using the original spelling rules (de-alt), originally by Heinz Knutzen, is now available for Aspell 0.60: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/de/aspell6-de-alt-2.1-1.tar.bz2 If there is enough interest I can combine both German dictionaries into one and release an Aspell 0.50 version. Due to limitations of Aspell 0.50 it is not possible to release them as separate dictionaries.
