Hi,

Trying to compile 0.50.4.1 on RedHat 7.1. I'm using gcc
2.96. Before installing the dictionary, I'm checking to
make sure the actual aspell program installed ok.

"make" didn't return any errors, but trying to run it
certainly does:

# aspell
aspell: error while loading shared libraries: unexpected reloc type 0x2d

Note that I did remove the previous installation of aspell
(an RPM) before attempting this install, so there shouldn't
have been any of those files lying around.

I've done due diligence -- just can't find anything on the
'net to help me. Compiling isn't exactly my strength, so
I'm not sure where to look from here. Any help would be
appreciated!!
