FYI,

I released version descdatadiary_0_3_1, of descriptive data diary
today. It addresses some of the problems that were brought up
here. The page is http://sourceforge.net/projects/descdatadiary/

The make file for BCB5.5 has been improved so that if you install
the commandline tools to the default directory, you should not
have to modify the make files. If you do, you only have to change
one line in each make file.

The exception in the "Manage word lists" feature has been filed.

There is now an install.txt file which contains BCB install
instructions from Frank Buzin.

Enjoy,
Gary
