Hi! I just tried compiling Aspell on Solaris 8, without any success. I get the following messages:
Making all in filter make[2]: Entering directory `/afs/nada.kth.se/misc/hacks/src3/aspell/0.33.7.1/filter' /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=compile g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../util -I/usr/local/hacks/vol2/pspell/0.12.2/include -g -O2 -c hash_repl.cc g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../util -I/usr/local/hacks/vol2/pspell/0.12.2/include -g -O2 -c hash_repl.cc -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/hash_repl.o g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../util -I/usr/local/hacks/vol2/pspell/0.12.2/include -g -O2 -c hash_repl.cc -o hash_repl.o >/dev/null 2>&1 make[2]: *** [hash_repl.lo] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/afs/nada.kth.se/misc/hacks/src3/aspell/0.33.7.1/filter' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/afs/nada.kth.se/misc/hacks/src3/aspell/0.33.7.1' make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 Executing the last g++ compiler command works fine, so it seems it it does just a little bit further along. Is there any way to turn on debugging in libtool? I configured aspell with the following line: ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/hacks/vol2/pspell/0.12.2 --- Adam Chodorowski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> BTW, I made the statistics up. I read somewhere that 60% of statistics are made up on the spot :-) -- Phill Wooller _______________________________________________ aspell-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/aspell-user
