The simplest is to use regular bound columns and for the rest set readonly
to true so they don't change on you when in edit mode.
Then use the rowcommand event to change to edit mode. If you're trying to
allow the user to click a certain column and only have that one change, it's
more work to set up and using edititemtemplates may be better, using div's
or whatever to catch the event within the cell and then in your codebehind
figure out which one to make editable.

Subject: [AspNet2] Gridviews
Hello, I am creating a windows application with Gridviews. One
gridview does a lookup based on a dropdown box selection. Once those
results appear, what I would like to happen is once you click on one of
the cells in the grid, for it to be able to appear in a textbox. Is
there a way to do this?? If so, please let me know, thank you:
Rick
