Thank you very much for your reply.

While checking the log file, I do not find any details of the utilities of
SQL Server that were not installed properly, however, it shows the details
of those utilities that were successfullly installed.

Therefore, I uninstalled Win-XP from my system and reinstalled it
twice. Every time I re-installed XP on my system, I was unable to install
SQL 2005.  I dont know what is wrong with XP and SQL 2005.
