Hi! Is there an easy way of getting the associated value in a lookup table (that is also included in the dataset) using ADO.NET? (I'm trying not to make new SQL queries just to get meanings of the Foreign Keys - such as SQL queries doing JOINS to retrieve a new table.)
i.e. My dataset consists of Product Table and Status Table. Product Table has a StatusID column. And to get the "meaning" of this StatusID - we need to lookup Status Table for its "desc" column. If I only have to do it for one Product, it's easy cause I can simply used FindRow() method on Status table and I will get its "desc". What if I need to bind all of Product Table to a datagrid but also want to display the Status "desc" instead of StatusID. TIA! ------------------------ Yahoo!
