I'm having trouble with a SQL Server timeout error. My application is designed to transfer data from a SQL Server 6.5 database to SQL Server 2000. My timeout error comes during the transaction that places data into the SQL Server database.
I'm using a stored procedure to do the insert, am cleaning out my table for each test run, and refreshing memory. I've tried changing the Isolation Level to Read Uncommitted, and changing my connection strategy so that I'm using a single connection instead of a connection pool. My memory is 256 MB, so I'm thinking that maybe I don't have enough, but could there be anything else that I'm missing? Thanks. ------------------------ Yahoo!
