Hi list Im working on a cv database solution where i have to show the work experiences for a candidate
There might be more than one records since he would have worked in more than one company I wanted to show in the below format : Company-1: ---------------- Name: some_name Location: some_loc Start Date: some_date End Date: some_date Designation: some_desig Company-2: ---------------- ....................... To accomplish this, I added a datagrid with a data bound column and a template column . My table struct has cmp_ID, cmp_name and other fields. I set the data bound column of the data grid as cmp_ID. In the template column, i have added a table with the label controls, with an intention to display the other field's values for the matching cmp_ID record. I have written a sub as well to assign the other values to the labels. Im passing the cmp_ID as the argument. And got stuck here. I bound the grid with a single bind statement. Im not using the data reader here and how would i pass the cmp_ID here? Or, is there anyother way through which i can achieve what im trying to do? TIA ILyas ------------------------ Yahoo!
