Ray,

I apologize if I offended you.  I think we (this country) as a whole
have become far too wrapped up in 'not offending' anyone.  I don't
think expression of one's beliefs offends anyone in reality.

I certainly didn't mean to offend you either.  I believe these lists
bring many peoples with varied backgrounds and interests together and
it would be ridiculous to make the assumption that we could (even if
we wanted to) encompass everyone in every subject we discussed.  I
don't know when "Kwanza" is but if someone posted on the list "Joyous
Kwanza"  I don't think it would cross our minds to request that he be
a little more general in his postings less he offend someone.  And it
is not even your fault..... hell Macy's has abandoned mention of
Christmas for the same reason.  I just think it is wrong.   There are
many OTHER holidays in this month and frankly I would like to
celebrate them all... anyways I am being repetitive but my point is
that we should not buy into the mainstream BS that is trying to
destroy Christmas... at this progression one day we can reach a state
where nothing has value or meaning, but no one is offended.
