Dean, Thanks... you are correct; I always try to find the slickest way to do
things without just using the basics.  FYI... response.StatusCode returns
and HttpStatusCode type... but calling the ToString() on it works just fine.

Ala VB:
Dim MyInt as Integer = Int32.Parse(response.StatusCode );
