Have you researched any possibilities? It sounds like you'd
need some combination of an ActiveX control and FTP, or perhaps you
could do it with FrontPage extensions. I'm sorry I don't have more to
offer, but I don't think this is something that is commonly done.
If you are not constrained to using Word documents, you might
consider using a third-party control like RichTextBox (
www.richtextbox.com ) to edit and store HTML documents with all the
formatting most people ever need.

I have posted a query yesterday regarding a word document residing on
IIS web server 5.0 can be opened in client's browser, edit the document
in the browser itself and give a facility to save those changes, sot
that those changes get reflected to th document on the server. Please
