Trace.warn(...) makes it red and easy to see. Take a look at: http://www.learnasp.com/experiments/tracewow/sqlclientdropdown.aspx which is a typical trace display.
Look for the word "Trace Information" that is the table where all the action is. It contains: a) all your trace.write and trace.warn statements b) notice the column labelled "From First(s)" this amazing column shows elapsed time since the script started, so the last number would be the exact breakdown in seconds (with many decimal places) that the script took.
