It is quite rich these days. a better cmd.exe that raises the bar for what we expect froma a command line.
http://jpsoft.com/4ntdes.htm It has been around for decades but I had no idea how powerful it had become lately. http://jpsoft.com/help/ is the feature list. (the internal variables list alone will blow your mind). But look really closely and open every leaf to appreciate how far they went. If you try it your jaw will drop, it is indescribable how powerful it has become -- I was impressed 15 years ago when I looked at it but assume it froze in features. Boy was I wrong. I may start using it for a number of maintenance tasks it makes no sense to write .net programs for. Something I saw on the web reminded me to look it up and whoaaaaaa. Yahoo!
