The thing is im using normal smtp server in IIS 6. I have in the relay section the ip of the machine the smtp server is on and the local ip of 127.0.0.1 and the lan ip as well as it's internet public ip and yet it wont allow ITSELF to relay? People join the website or edit there account it mails out to them from the page. I can't understand why if I have the machines ip lan and public in there as able to relay it won't. Any mail to it is coming from and asp.net page on the same machine. So technically it is not a relay as it is emailing something from itself. What am I doing wrong?
