Ok, here are the things you need to know:

1. any user control has code behind associated with it and you can
include your functions and routines here

2. If you want to create a class and have everything in it, then you can
create a C# or VB Class in the existing project itself, just right click
on the project and choose Add/Remove item

3. After you create a class, from user control you need to create an
instance of the class, to access the members etc.

The way to do is like this:
[ In this example the name of the class is abControl]

      abControl abc = new abControl();

and then use ab.member(); to access the members and other methods
you have. Good luck !.

Karthick

Marwa,

Are you referring to Web User Control and Class files? These are the
closest files that I have in VS.NET 2003.

Dear All

I have a problem concerninig Web Controls and I am facing a problem in
working with that hope you can give me some hints in it. Need to know
2 things if that is possible, first when creating a new class which
project type to use and witch class type to select (Web control
Library / User Control).
Second after creating the project how to call it to use it?

Thanks in Advance,

Marwa
