Wilson Web Forms allows an action.
http://www.wilsondotnet.com/Controls/
once the action is set to another .aspx file it has 100% access to
viewstate, objects, etc. as if it was the same page.
Asp.net 2.0 will have a similar mechanism -- Wilson web forms lets you
do that today.
