Does anyone have a good thread pool example they can point me at? I need to
write my first multi-threaded application; a file watcher using the file
system watcher. I need to have a pool of 100 threads that copy, rename, and
delete originals files. I need to make sure that the threads aren't hung
either so I can't do a fire-and-forget type of thing and I have to keep
state of the progress so if the program fails for some reason or simply
shuts off I can recover. This is a big change from the web apps I am use to
writing but a welcome challenge. Any links that you think would be
applicable to what I just described would be much appreciated. thanks.
