Well.. I have used image verification systems before, but never programmed it.. Here's my thought on how it could be done Create a number of warped graphical objects and name the files what they are, and have them randomly appear each time a verification is needed. In the database, store the name of the file. When the person tries to verify that he is real, append what he typed with ".gif or .jpg" and see if there is a match. If there is a match than he typed it in correctly. That's what I would have done.. Anyone have another idea on how I can validate that a human is submitting a form and not a crawler of sorts?
