Hi, In my next project, I am supposed to design an application on a Wireless PocketPC. The application starts after having a secure wireless (remote) connection to a centeralized server. The database would reside on a SQL Server (not SQLCE). I would like to ask the GURUS, which of the following would be a BEST approach for my development?
1. Incorporate a WEBSERVICE on the server and let the PocketPC exchange the information. ( Needs a HTTP Web Server running ). 2. Connect remotely to the SQLServer using ADO.NET connection string. (Not the SQLCE ). I have worked in the option #1, if any one of you have designed any application in option #2., Please share your experience., Any help/suggestion is greatly appreciated. - DotNET Developer. ------------------------ Yahoo!
