Hi everyone,,,

First of all, i'm just a beginner with a lil experience in asp.net..
so i'll be very grateful for any advice.

Second of all, i'm developing a system in asp.net (C#), and i'm
making a page that will pull a report from many tables in the
database and it MUST look like the figure below. So, i'm planning to
do it in datagrid and i know how control adding and modifying columns
(since i need to allow the user to choose the weeks period) but i
don't know how to control the level of rows (add 7 cells in one cell
while these cells are actually all in one cell).

Figure:
-------------------------------------------------------

Code Description Week1 Week2 Week3

-------------------------------------------------------
A1 some desc Inventory 900 800 10
                     ----------------------------------
                     Orders 800 100 100
                     ----------------------------------
                     Demand 800 700 700
-------------------------------------------------------
A2 A2 desc

                            the same as above
-------------------------------------------------------

So, as you can see i need to bring the code+Description dynamically
from one table in the database and i need to build the weeks also
dynamically upon the user request as follows:
choose from: (dropdownlist1)
choose to: (dropdownlist2)

I really would appreciate if you can give me an advice on that or at
least tell where to look for the solution. Also tell me whether i'm
going in the right direction by choosing datagrid or shall i think
about other asp component like datalist or detailsView.

Regards,,,
Marwan A.
