Hi,
if web server and smtp server on the same machine

SmtpMail.SmtpServer ="ip address of your smtp server"
go to IIS and SMTP server properties
delivery - Tab - Advanced
smarthost must be assigned. eg
smarthost = smtp.xyz.com (your mailserver address)
-------------------------------------------
if web server and smtp server different you must
configure smtpserver properties
access tab
connection and relay (authendication)
