Ok, upon second reading of your post I think I understand what you want. It
seems you want the following (correct me if I'm wrong): there will be a
textbox at the top of the page outside of the repeater and when the user types
in a character the repeater will show the records that match that character (of
course based on whatever repeater field you are using to perform the search).
Is this right? If yes, then I can look into it.

Hopefully someone can help me out here or point me in the right
direction. I have a web page that contains a repeater. I bind the
repeater to a data source when the page loads. The user wants to be
able to start typing in a textbox and have the repeater display the
results as they are typing. Obviously, this has to be done on the
client-side. I know there are various keypress events that can be
captured. But I am pretty weak in javascript. Has anyone done this
or know of a web site where I can see an example?
Thanks,
Bob
