download the express versions of the coding environments... they have a web one, C# and VB that I know about. The 2.0 framework is free. You can get it by going to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856EACB-4362-4B0D-8EDD-AAB15C5E04F5&displaylang=en for the redistributed package or just go to www.msdn.com and search for .net 2.0 download. I upgraded my two servers at home and desktops at work and home and had no issues. Happy coding my friend.

I'm a "hand coder", and do not have Visual Studio, or anything else (although, it is on my wish list). But, the new features of 2.0 will definitely benefit me too. I have a few questions: 1. Is the 2.0 update free, or do we have to purchase it? 2. Where can we get it? I can't seem to find it on the Microsoft Web site. 3. Every time I go to upgrade something like this, I end up with issues. I've reviewed several locations on the net that report issues, but they all seem to deal with things that I'm either not doing or not using. Is anyone aware of any potential problems that I may run into? Thanks, Jesse Yahoo!
