In case anyone else has this issue I simply appended on the end of the image this :
& "?ImageNoCache=" & DateTime.Now.ToLongTimeString() Which makes the browser think it's a different image name each time and no caching...................... Hope it helps others. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mike Belcher Sent: Friday, December 02, 2005 4:08 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [AspNetAnyQuestionIsOk] Image Caching - ASPX - IIS 60 Importance: High I have a upload photo page and this allows a client to upload there photo. What happens is that the user uploads the photo it is saved under the same name then a response.redirect to the same page which then is updated with the new photo displayed. But it shows the old one as apparently the browser is caching it. I have in the html of the page: <META http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache"> But its seems to just blow that off. It isn't working. How can I get it not to cache the image or at least REFRESH THE PAGE as that seems to show the new image. It would be nice to nto allow the browser to cache the image. MIKE Yahoo!
