We have an IMMEDIATE need for an ASP Developer, for a 3 - 6 month consulting assignment in Baltimore. Role: Consultant will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and further development of existing web applications. Required Technical Skills: * 3 - 4 years experience with Web development utilizing SQL Server databases. * ASP, MS SQL Server 2000 SP3 (+). * MUST have solid SQL Server skills (no exceptions) - ability to write and maintain stored procedures. Preferred Technical Skills: * ASP.NET, C#, VB.Net, MS Visual Studio .NET, TIBCO, HTML, XML, XSL, XSLT, Xpath, VB Script, Java Script, JSP, Java, MS Windows 2000, SP4, Sun Solaris Oracle 9i, IIS. * Experience with ASP.NET, TIBCO, and/or Java is a definitive plus. Additional Requirements: * Highly motivated and challenge-oriented individual, able to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills. * Customer service focused and responsive to customer needs. * Able to work in a large corporate IT infrastructure, coordinate work across departments and meet corporate policy goals and objectives. * Familiarity with web applications tied to databases and management of those applications. * Works well in a team setting or independently as required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills.
