Sunday 06.08. to Friday 18.08.2006 the 5th European Summer Academy on
Bioethics.

The European Summer Academy on Bioethics is an international and
interdisciplinary conference based on lectures, excursions and
workshops. An international team of prominent and excellent speakers
is responsible for the conference program. The target group are
students enrolled in medicine, biology, pharmacy, chemistry,
philosophy, psychology, theology and law. Starting from an analysis of
basic ethical concepts we will examine the relevance of these concepts
in confrontation with current biomedical research and development in
the field of
* Human Genetics
* Gene Therapy
* Stem cell research
* End-of-lif-issues
* Transplantation Medicine
Every year students from more than 15 different European countries
and the United States take part. To guarantee a real European
conference only 5
students per nation will be permitted.
