Business Summer School

Business Summer School (BSS) is an academic program for
learning in an international context, and a forum for developing
intercultural understanding. During two weeks of stay in Brasov, both
Romanian and foreign students will participate in debates, workshops
and seminars. The academic and the practical approaches are combined
in order to fully cover the learning span of the subject.
Business Summer School is organized by the Faculty of Business
Administration (in foreign languages) , from The Academy of Economic
Studies from Bucharest in partnership with the Faculty of Economic
Sciences , from Transilvania University from Brasov.
The theme of Business Summer School is:
"Globalization and the new business models for investments"
For the first time in Romania, Business Summer School is bringing
teachers and researchers from universities like : Harvard University,
London School of Economics , Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT), Yale University, Columbia University and spokesmen from the
international business environment , that have graduated universities
like : Kennedy School of Government, Harvard Business School, Wharton
School, Harvard Law School, Yale Law School, Hofstra University of
New York.
The courses of Business Summer School will be entirely in
English. The test taken at the end of the two weeks will grant the
participants 4 ECTS credits.
The targeted segment is composed of 40 students, master and
PhD students under the age of 35.
