In vederea cresterii interesului academic in Romania fata de psiho-oncologie poate puteti sa forwardati acest mesaj celor potential interesati. Pentru Romania ar fi o ocazie deosebita sa aiba cat mai multi reprezentanti la Congres. Congres international psiho-oncologie Congresul se adreseaza mai ales medicilor specializati in oncologie, psihiatrie dar si psihologilor clinicieni, epidemiologilor. Avantajul este locatia apropiata - Viena. These attendees represent diverse fields from more than 50 countries who dialogue about improving cancer care on an international level and developing strategies to add psychosocial issues to all aspects of cancer control. The attendees include, but are not limited to, those who work as physicians, social workers, nurses, psychologists, rehabilitation specialists, epidemiologists, social scientists and educators. The theme of the Vienna Congress is “Multi-disciplinary Perspectives in Psycho-Oncology: Interaction and Integration.” The program will be rich in content that is appealing to non-mental health professionals such as nurses and oncologists but also vital in helping psycho-oncologists build and work effectively as part of multidisciplinary cancer care teams.
