This news has appeared, it appears, all over the press in the State.
I think it is a very good move not only because of the problem of anarchy
in the State but also as the finale of the sovereignty episode of Assam's
troubled history.
I pity the offficials of the Home Ministry and even the leaders of
the nation because the matter is not just the physical aspect of it, i e
holding dialogues in New Delhi in the near future. The problem is about
the acquittal of the prisoners as a precondition. Of course there could be
other things as well.
