Dear Mridul

Actually there was a newsitem in a British daily (I do not exactly remember the name now) that correspondence colleges in India are now enrolling students from America teaching students in English and Maths. I thought this fact was widely known, I therefore didn't  post the item in the net. It seems people all over the world are beginning to realize that teaching of maths and English in India(i e, I suppose  English as taught in English-medium schools) is of acceptable standard in the west. However, I do not have first-hand information on this matter.

By the way the standard of education in Sri Lanka is much better than of India. Their deqrees are regarded as equivalent to those awarded by the UK Universities.
