The report says GOI spent more than
Rs.1400 cores for ULFA so far.
This is about the size of Assam's annual
oil royalty received from GOI every year.
I bet a good portion of that money
goes to Military, Govt employees and ULFA itself as some newspaper report
said.
As I said there is no incentive to kill
the golden goose from any side.
So the news does not really signify
anything new in the scenario.
