Large Dams in Northeast India: Issues and Concerns
A Talk by Neeraj Vagholikar, Kalpavriksh
4pm, Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005
Room 4-231, MIT, Cambridge, MA

The Northeast  has been described as India's 'future powerhouse'. According to the Central
Electricity Authority (CEA), 168 large dams with a cumulative installed capacity of 63, 328 MW
 have been identified for development.
It will be great if people from Assam & the North East living in Boston area can attend the talk, ask questions  and find out more about it.
