Oil, gas co anticipating discovery confirmation in Bay of Bengal(Asia In Focus Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)DHAKA, Jan 18 Asia in Focus - TULLOW, an Irish oil and gas company, said at a meeting yesterday said that the company has conducted a seismic survey near the block 17 and 18 and in the Bay of Bengal around the offshore island Saint Martine, and found bubbles and petroliferous matter and it would be able to confirm the discovery by October this year. Energy Ministry Advisor Mahmudur Rahman, who attended the meeting of major gas and oil companies, dismissed concerns that Bangladesh's gas reserve would be exhausted by 2015-2020.
