Sponsorship for Assamese Get-together 2006 -------------------------------------------
The Assamese community of the San Francisco Bay area is hosting Assamese Get-together 2006 (AGT 2006), a fun-filled cultural celebration by people with ties to Assam, on July 1 and 2, 2006 at the San Mateo Marriot. We have received overwhelming support from individuals all across the U.S. and we look forward to hosting a successful event. The financial costs of hosting the event will be covered by registration fees from participants and sponsorships from corporate sources, individuals and organizations. The volunteers involved in organizing the event are actively pursuing sponsorships from local small businesses, large corporations, and organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Acknowledgements to such contributions can be made in a form agreed upon by the organizers of AGT 2006 and the sponsoring party - for example, in the souvenir, on the website for AGT2006 or during a slide show in the event. Such contributions can also be applied towards sponsoring part or whole of a specific event within AGT 2006. We would like to take this opportunity to solicit such contributions or sponsorships from corporations, individuals or organizations all across the United States.
